Help find Cher & Sunny a Forever Home!

Ellen with Cher and Sunny.
Ellen with Cher and Sunny.

Superstars are at the Humane Society of Broward County and Ellen got to hang out with them. At just 11 months old Sunny and Cher are a dynamic duo (brother and sister) who are curious, playful and want you to be their number one fan! Sunny has lots of energy, likes to be pet, put prefers not to cuddle. Cher, surprisingly is a little reserved, but with her beautiful markings she is sure to turn heads. You can adopt this duo and pay one $30 adoption fee, that way these babes will always have each other. .

When you adopt from the Humane Society of Broward County all pets are spayed or neutered before going home. In addition they receive preliminary vaccinations, microchip, heart worm test for dogs over seven months, feline leukemia test for cats, a limited 10 day health care plan courtesy of VCA Animal Hospital, a bag of Purina ONE food, 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance and more. For more information call the shelter today at 954-989-3977 ext 6. The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, just a block west of I-95 and opens daily at 10:30 a.m. To see who else is looking for a home, visit www.humanebroward.com

URGENT NEED:

Due to the large amount of kittens, cats, and other pocket pets in our shelter, we have been going through newspapers at an alarming rate... and now WE ARE OUT! šŸ˜±

If you have any newspapers in your house (or on their way to your recycling bin), can you PLEASE donate them to our shelter instead? Even one issue can help a handful of pets.

We use newspapers to line the cages of the shelter's cats, kittens, bunnies, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and more. Because they're absorbent and disposable, they help keep the cages sanitary and provide a little bit of warmth.

The Humane Society of Broward County relies on volunteers to help with many of the programs and services at the shelter. Whether it is being a foster parent, doing an educational presentation, walking dogs or helping with pet adoptions, there are many opportunities available if you have some time to devote.
